Information Ganji payments limited collects about you
We collect personal information about you that you provide while you use Ganji services on our mobile application. Certain personal information must be supplied during the lender and/or borrower registration processes in order to meet our legal obligations, verify your identity, determine eligibility for credit, protect against fraud, and complete your transaction. The following categories of information may be collected:
Information you provide to us directly
Your basic identifying information (for example, your name, physical address, email, telephone number, and date of birth).
Technical information, including the type of mobile device you use, unique device identifiers (for example, your device’s IMEI or serial number), information about the SIM card used by the Device, mobile network information, your Device’s operating system, the type of browser you use, or your Device’s location and time zone setting (Device Information).
Information stored on your Device, including contact lists, call logs, SMS logs, Facebook friends, contact lists from other social media accounts, photos, videos or other digital content (Content Information).
Data from your use of any other third-party application on the Device or the Service Sites. Details of your use of any of our Apps or your visits to any of Our Service Sites; including, but not limited to, traffic data, location data, weblogs and other communication data (Log Information).
Information we receive from third parties
We can receive information about you from other parties such as credit reference bureaus about your credit history and credit score on request.
How we use this information
To process your transaction. For both borrowers and lenders, we use this information to determine if you qualify for a loan/loan amount and guide your investing decisioning respectively.
To maintain and improve our Service. We use the information to operate, maintain, improve and provide to you the features and functionality of the Service.
To communicate with you. We use the information to communicate directly with you, such as to send you direct mail and email marketing messages. We may also send you Service-related emails or messages (e.g., account verification, change or updates to features of the Service, technical and security notices).
Disclosure of your information
We may disclose some or all of the data we collect from you when you download or use the App to credit reference bureaus.
When can we disclose your information to third parties?
- In the event that we sell or buy any business or assets, in which case we may disclose your personal data to the prospective seller or buyer of such business or assets
- If Ganji payments limited or substantially all of its assets are acquired by a third party, in which case personal data held by it about its customers will be one of the transferred assets.
- If we are under a duty to disclose or share your personal data in order to comply with any legal or regulatory obligation or request.
- In order to: enforce our Terms and Conditions and other agreements or to investigate potential breaches; report defaulters to any credit bureau; or for the purpose of publishing statistics relating to the use of the App, in which case all information will be aggregated and made anonymous.
How we protect your information
Secure Data Center; Ganji platform is hosted in secure servers in the cloud which deploy bank grade security protecting your personal information.
Session timeouts; we employ session time-outs to protect your account. You will be logged out of the site automatically after a specified period of inactivity. This time-out feature reduces the risk of others being able to access your account if you leave your mobile phone unattended.
Passwords. Ganji users are required to set up passwords which they will use whenever they log into the platform.
Ganji sends important communications regarding your account via email or SMS. You should therefore take steps to secure and restrict access to your email account and change your email account password frequently. You should also be aware of fraudulent emails known as “phishing,” from companies claiming to be Ganji and requesting your login information or other account information. Prosper will never ask for your login information in an email or SMS.
Updates to this policy
If we make any material changes to these terms, we will notify you either through the email address you have provided us, or by placing a prominent notice on our website.
